Meet Your Fellow Readers

Hi! I'm Mayaka Ogawa, a 21st student in Akita International University. I'm majoring in Political Science, specifically Migration Studies! The Global Campus Newsletter has helped me a lot in identifying different opportunities like online sessions that broadened my understanding in different areas of Politics, International Relations, etc.

Not only that, the Newsletter has a compiled summary of the latest events that have happened in the past few weeks. I really recommend this to students who have a busy schedule (like me ), but still want to stay informed and broaden their current understanding. Plus, it's free!

I am Vito from Hong Kong, and my major is Global Studies with concentration on international relations and global media. I came across The Global Campus first when I was in AIU for my exchange, and after weeks of reading, I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay informed about current world events in a clear and engaging way.

What stands out to me is how it compiles important political news from around the globe into one thoughtful and accessible weekly edition. Reading it not only keeps me updated but has also motivated me to be more aware of international issues and their wider impacts. Beyond news, I’ve also discovered free online events and book releases through the newspaper, which have broadened my perspective even further. For me, The Global Campus has become both an informative and inspiring resource, and I believe it’s a must-read for anyone looking to understand the world better.

Hello! My name is Jack, I'm a 3rd year Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) student at The University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia

In today's fast-paced news cycle and hectic global political environment, I've found The Global Campusweekly newsletter to be an invaluable tool to keep me up to date and informed with global happenings. I particularly enjoy the day-by-day breakdown of events and the included sources, making it easy for me to dive deeper into global issues that matter most to me and gain a deeper and well-rounded understanding of global affairs.

Beyond my studies, I remain personally interested in defence policy and co-operation, as well as political economy studies. I look forward to the possibility of connecting with other readers who share these interests.

Thank you again to Nick for putting together such a great publication!
